Susan and Rob Farrens live in Carmel, California.

Susan has been an Interior designer, a distance runner, a triathlete, with a love for singing, performing and family. Susan retired after running two Interior Design companies, working for In-Shape Health clubs as their lead Designer and co-owning a storefront, Pinestreet Interiors.
​
Rob retired after being in the fitness and Health club industry for 35 years. Acting as co- owner of In-Shape Health Clubs, Robs talents with sales and marketing included CMO and CSO of In-Shape. He assisted in growing the company from two clubs to 78. He still loves real estate and the ‘art of the deal’, exercise, and his family!

With active lives, Rob and Susan both love their downtime with family and friends.

The PHit Back Story
The c a r m e l PHit was created in Carmel, California.
Susan, experiencing a severe digestive imbalance, decided to take her 80/20 clean and fun eating rule to 100 percent for 30 days. It was no fun to back out wine and coffee!
Upon the slow reintroduction of “the fun stuff”, Susan realized that wine was the culprit. The acids and sugars were literally keeping her from living the life she loved.
After careful research of what she could consume, she founded PHit. Its was literally a ‘necessity is the mother of invention’ scenario. Her commitment was that every single ingredient had to have a health benefit, the higher the better! She played with a number recipes and loved that she could build in delicious ingredients that had incredible benefits!
That being said, she really did her research on spirits! On her first ‘google’ Tequilla was the winner hands down. Tequilla has a bad rap with most.. something to do with college parties and cowboy hats! However, some things are mishandled, then misunderstood and tequila is one of them!
Tequilla is known to be a pre and a probiotic. Its said that 100% agave tequila is low in sugar and can aid digestion.
After making a number of recipes for herself and Rob to enjoy, they shared them with their friends It was well received, to say the least! They would get calls the next day saying how great they felt and how much they loved carmel PHit!
Coming out of retirement was a big decision! The fact that c a r m e l PHit had been a game changer for Susan and celebrated by so many, they felt the journey was too compelling to pass up!
Susan and Rob have selected their three favorite, hand crafted recipes and now offer them to you, and the world! With love, we hope you find its a great PHit for you too!
